Behavioral Science Curriculum Guide

ABSAME published a Behavioral Science Curriculum Guide in October 1995, and plans to continue to explore ways of promoting competent, inter-disciplinary teaching of behavioral sciences content in medical schools, residency programs, and CME programs. Each copy of the guide is accompanied with the text in electronic format (floppy disk) in order to facilitate comparison between the guide and course syllabuses or curricula. The guide was created in collaboration with the Association of Medical School Professors of Psychology and the Association of Directors of Medical Student Education in Psychiatry. The document outlines curriculum in the form of cognitive knowledge, attitudes and skills.
