BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES: Curriculum Guide

General Description

The curriculum guide is published by the Association for the Behavioral Sciences and Medical Education. It was developed in collaboration with The Association of Medical School of Professors of Psychology, and the Association of Directors of Medical Students Education in Psychiatry. It provides and outline of subject material critical to the understanding of human behavior especially as it relates to medical practice. The guide indicates knowledge, skills, and attitudes in each of the subject areas.

The full guide appears as in the print version in the 1995 supplement of the Annals of Behavioral
Science and Medical Education. A computer disk containing the complete text of the outline is included with the print version so that users maybe enhance the outline for a particular application. The disk contains three files:

readme.txt - An informational file
currguid.txt - An ASCII version of the complete outline
currguid.wp - A WordPerfect (ver 5.2) version of the outline with formatting intact.

We welcome your comments and questions about the guide.
