Transportation

Annapolis is closer than you think. Centrally located between Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, D.C., it is easily accessible by car or bus via major thoroughfares.

Air Travel:
The nearest airport to Annapolis is the Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) Airport and provides the most economical options for ground transportation. Airlines such as American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, Southwest, AirTran, US Airways and more make flying into BWI Airport quick and easy.

Ground Transportation:
Taxi service is available at BWI for approximately $40 one way.
Super Shuttle provides service between BWI and Historic Inns at a cost of approximately $29 one way and does not require advanced reservations.
The Airport Shuttle, Inc. provides service from BWI, Washington Dulles, and Ronald Reagan National Airports, Amtrak, and Penn-Station-Baltimore. The Airport Shuttle provides door-to-door services and does require advanced reservations. Fares vary.

AMTRAK and MARC trains stop at BWI and connect to Annapolis by the Sky Blue Bus Route. Shuttles are also available from the terminal to many BWI area hotels.
