Submitting an Abstract

Submission Deadline:  Midnight, May 15, 2003
The electronic submission of this form requires Internet Explorer 3 or Netscape 4 or above

Getting Started:
The submission process has been improved this year. It involves 3 step process that begins by you creating a user ID and then adding the necessary information. When you are ready to begin, you can click here.

If you experience difficulty with the process, help is only a call away (810) 715-4365 or email admin @ absame.org.

Please also refer to the submission information page for general information about submissions.

In order to make the process easier, you should prepare your text in a text editor and then use the Cut & Paste features of your windowing system.  If you have prepared the document in a word processor (i.e. Word or WordPerfect) you should first save the document as a text file and then open this in a text editor (i.e. NotePad) before cutting and pasting into this form.  Please make sure you have saved a copy of your abstract (in word processor/editor) before hitting the submit button. By following this suggestion, if you have trouble when submitting the form, you will not have to re-type the text.  If you need to make changes to a previously submitted form, please resubmit and indicate in the comments section that this is to replace your previous submission.

Please follow these few rules:
1. Submissions must follow the directions for the proposed category and must be complete.
2. If you want to submit more than one proposal, complete a separate and complete proposal for each.
3. All submissions must include the following information:
     - Author(s) information
     - Abstract (500 words for seminars and workshops, 300 words for brief papers and posters)
     - Detailed Proposal for seminars and workshops (not to exceed 2 pages)

When ready to submit your abstract - click here.
